Alongside its research projects, the La Boca Archaeological Museum offers experimental spaces in the form of workshops. These spaces are used for community-based research and production projects, where the collective process of knowledge building takes center stage. They are open and accessible spaces that are activated periodically through meetings and in-person activities at the museum's locations or in collaborative spaces.
In 2024, the La Boca Archaeological Museum launched the project “Archaeologies and Communities: 21st Century Archaeological Research and Collections, La Boca,” in collaboration with the Ministry of Archaeology of the Republic of La Boca and the La Boca Historical Museum. During the following years, the museum will continue working to create more spaces for the intersection of different approaches and experimentation, making knowledge and study spaces related to the archaeological, port, industrial, and maritime history of La Boca available to the public.
