National and international networks and collaborations in museology and maritime archaeology
MusA Boca actively participates in international networks and meetings dedicated to maritime history, archaeology and museology, consolidating links with institutions and professionals from around the world.
These connections allow MusA Boca to exchange experiences, disseminate their research, and develop joint projects in the academic and cultural fields.
Since 2016 MusA Boca has been a member of the Center for the History of Regional Port Cities, within the framework of the Institute of History of the Institute of Historical, Economic, Social and International Studies (IDEHESI), a Networked Executive Unit of the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET).
In 2017, MusA Boca joined the International Congress of Maritime Museums (ICMM), a global network of maritime museums, associations, and maritime heritage professionals, affiliated with the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Since then, it has participated in international congresses and meetings, presenting its research and projects in maritime archaeology and museology to specialized audiences worldwide.
In 2025, the museum joined the Network of Ibero-American Maritime Museums of Spanish and Portuguese speakers, participating in the "Encounters" Workshop, organized by the National Maritime Museum of Chile and the Global Maritime Histories Program of the International Congress of Maritime Museums – Lloyd's Register Foundation for Education and Heritage.
