MusA Boca organizes a series of scientific and recreational activities that enable the community to learn about the diverse and rich culture of the port.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

These activities offer different ways of engaging with the subject matter for a wide range of audiences. The Values \u200b\u200bof Water<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The MusA Boca offers the opportunity to learn and play through \"The Values \u200b\u200bof Water,\" a board game provided by Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and the UNESCO Chair \"Water, Ports and Historic Cities,\" directed by Dr. Carola Hein.
This in-person board game requires six participants, who assume different roles in scenarios or game boards designed to imagine possible futures related to energy, transportation, trade, food, and water quality in human settlements connected to the river environment. During the game, participants work on planning actions and discussing alternatives to formulate potential solutions while keeping in mind the heritage of La Boca.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

MusA Boca invites you to participate in a tour of the Archaeology Cabinet and the Cromwell & Co. Shipyard and Marine Workshops. There, you can discuss the archives the museum receives: documents, maps, and objects that reveal the unique focus of each research project, from maritime to industrial archaeology. Visitors will also have access to fascinating facts about ship and train engines, naval mechanical practices, and the global rail-port tradition surrounding them, from the era of steam power to the present day.

Visit to the \u201cMarjan Grum\u201d Tenement Museum<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The visit includes a tour of the first MusA Boca site museum and the Marjan Grum Tenement Museum. Restored as a cultural space in the 1980s, it was declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the Buenos Aires City Legislature in 2003, highlighting its importance to the neighborhood's identity.
The site showcases the typical architecture of the original La Boca house and its exhibition spaces: the site museum, the art gallery, and the sculpture workshop. Visitors can speak with artists Marjan Grum and Beatriz Corval\u00e1n, learning about their unique perspectives on their history, their work, and their aspirations. They can also view the artifacts on display in the site museum and learn about the cultural activities and symbolic practices associated with them and the neighborhood.

MusA Boca connects with leading figures in the local cultural scene and seeks to share ways of discovering and creating. El Remanso is the name of the historic schooner sailing ship moored at Av. Don Pedro de Mendoza 2000.<\/span><\/p>

The museum offers the opportunity to tour this historic vessel located on the Riachuelo, talk to its captain about the link between the neighborhood and the water, learn about its particular history, and its expectations.<\/span><\/p>

You'll also learn interesting facts about schooners, wooden ships, and navigation as a cornerstone of the economic, social, and cultural development of the port of Buenos Aires. Weather permitting, you can sail along the mouth of the Riachuelo River, from Vuelta de Rocha, past the Barraca Pe\u00f1a Bridge, the Transporter Bridge, Cuatro Bocas, Dock Sud, Demarchi Island, and Tandanor (tour duration: approximately 1 hour).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
