In recent years, especially in the post-pandemic period, with intensive use of digital technologies, organizations in La Boca neighborhood acquired a central face-to-face role as a form of critical containment in the face of urban transformation processes.<\/span><\/p>

In this new dynamic, in which public and private programs are intertwined, the museum is present to link different groups and disciplines from La Boca, attentive to the diversity of visions, practices and knowledge linked to the construction of local identity.<\/span><\/p>

The first research project, \u201cArchaeologies and Communities: 21st-Century Archaeological Research and Collections, La Boca,\u201d focused on documenting the neighborhood's archaeological collections to identify diverse areas of interest. In this regard, the museum seeks to bring together cultural figures committed to scientific knowledge, drawing on archaeology, to develop a citizen science program capable of addressing various issues related to the local historical landscape. This initiative led to the creation of professional records and the production of both textual and visual documents.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Caring for the planet and raising awareness about the importance of water are part of the contemporary agenda, evident in the work of numerous local organizations, groups, collectives, and artists who use the Riachuelo River and its banks as focal points to address issues such as fires and pollution. Likewise, the maritime mindset of these participants is rooted in a tradition linked to the port's cultural history. In this context, the array of local practices\u2014ranging from after-school tutoring at the fire station to initiatives focused on recovering archives and memories of La Boca\u2014forms an affective and collaborative framework for conceiving and developing a Citizen Science Program together.<\/span><\/p>

With the aim of facilitating in-person meetings and fostering discussion around the maritime consciousness of the port city, the museum invites leading figures, artists, and collectives to participate in the board game \"The Values \u200b\u200bof Water.\" <\/span>
